چکیده

Elastic Optical Networks (EONs) are a promising optical technology to deal with the ever-increasing traffic and vast number of connected devices next generation Internet, associated paradigms like Internet Things (IoT), Tactile or Industry 4.0, name just few. In this kind network, each circuit lightpath is provisioned by means superchannels variable bandwidth. manner, only necessary bandwidth accommodate demand allocated, improving spectrum usage. When establishing connection, EON control layer determines modulation format be used allocates portion in sequence fibers from source destination node providing user-demanded This known as routing, level assignment (RMSA) problem. work, we firstly review most important contributions that area, then, propose novel RMSA algorithm, multi-path best-fit (MP-BF), which uses split strategy together technique (best-fit), jointly exploit flexibility EONs. A simulation study has been conducted comparing performance EONs when using MP-BF other proposals literature. The results show that, MP-BF, network can increase its terms request blocking ratio supported load, without affecting energy per bit computation time required find solution.

A Multi-path Hybrid Routing Algorithm in Network Routing

The shortest path tree construction is essential in network routing, and the Dijkstra algorithm, which is a static routing algorithm, is widely used. When some links in a network have new weights, dynamic routing algorithms are more efficient than static routing algorithms. This is because the dynamic routing algorithms reduce redundancy by recomputing only the affected sections of the network ...

Stable-path multi-channel routing with extended level channel assignment

Wireless mesh networks (WMNs) have gained considerable popularity in recent times thanks to their selfhealing, self-organizing, and self-configuring nature. Because of their ability to provide high throughput and minimum packet delay, WMNs are considered to be favorable for broadband applications. For such applications, WMNs employ multiple channels, which give rise to issues like channel assig...
